To support those who need it most right now, we want to share this project with all of you and share the following personal address from our CEO, Lukas Lamprecht:
“The global Corona pandemic has made us hold our breath in recent weeks. I would like to pay my highest respect to all affected persons and families and express my deepest condolences in this hard time. This makes it all the more important to me that those who can, take part in helping those in need.
A month ago I was contacted by Mark Thorsen from Digital Cube Media, who has brought a great project to life. This very emotional 3D rendered video shows the many challenges we have to master in our current everyday life and pays particular attention to the people who, with their selfless and hard work, make a great contribution to helping people affected by Covid-19 and keeping our society going.
Now, on behalf of the entire Renderpeople team I would like to use our reach to share this great video and to launch an appeal for donations. Only together can such crises be successfully mastered. Let us help each other. Donate now to help people in need.”

Personal words from project creator Mark Thorsen (Digital Cube Media):
“Thank you. This is an animation that honors those that have been on the front lines of this battle. I’ve been extremely moved by their courage and resolve to wake up every day and subject themselves to high risk of infection environments so that society can keep running. They do this as the rest of us wait in isolation doing our, far easier part.
We’ve been inspired by stories of health care professionals who have to deal with incredible stresses each day only to go home and have to physically isolate from their families and support system. Supply chain personnel that in this time of extreme uncertainty and fear, leaving their loved ones for extended periods of time, not given the luxury of being able to give or receive comfort and reassurance in person. We’ve talked to grocery store personnel who accepted the reality that they are a vital cog in the wheel and have been asked to show up day in day out to a job that subjects them to thousands of the possibly infected.

When we asked them about it, we’d get the ‘ol lump in the throat when they responded, “…well, I’m needed, so I’ll do it.” Virologists who have now received their highest calling, and are now red-lining at all costs, weaponizing their knowledge and skills to fight what is a pure, clean, and good fight.
I am filled with compassion and empathy for the fear, stresses, and dangers all these individuals are experiencing while simultaneously being excited for them, as their number has been called, and have been given an opportunity to shine.
They’ve answered that call.
We set out to honor these “essentials” or “front-liners” when creating this piece, and there are more professions than I mentioned above that have made sacrifices. That being said We wanted to jump in the fight ourselves.

Feel free to share, the goal is to get this out to charities globally, I have it cut to 12 different languages so far, and will be offering custom end cards (You’re URL Goes Here) to those charities as my and my company Digital Cube Media, LLC ‘s donation. This was a significant effort and we also could not have done it in this short time frame without donations from the great people at Renderpeople who quickly hopped on board donating thousands of dollars of assets to make this happen. Also a shout out to my buddy David Ariew for helping, IN SPACE ;)
The more this video gets out the more chances we will get the eyes of one of these charities. We are aware of most of them in the US, however not many at all in the world. Any international folks I’d love to know some names or where to look. I will also be approaching them directly over the next week. Specifically I am looking for connections to those in the marketing departments of these charities. Feel free to DM me, or connect me via email mark@digitalcubemedia.com if you know anyone at the ground floor of a non-profit or charity that is fighting this fight.”
