What is the Renderpeople Studio?
The Renderpeople Studio is a free plug-in for 3ds Max. It gives you access to your Renderpeople account directly from within 3ds Max. You can easily access your 3D People library and search or filter models to quickly find, download and import exactly the models you need for your 3D visualization. New models can be quickly purchased without leaving 3ds Max. And once downloaded, all your models can be easily shared between your entire team or company.

Renderpeople Studio FAQ
Yes, Renderpeople Studio is a free plug-in for 3ds Max. Our main goal is to simplify our customer’s work life and to generally increase the usability of our products.
For now, the Renderpeople Studio is only being developed for 3ds Max. Please let us know if you are a user of other 3D programs and also interested in using the plug-in. Customer feedback is very important to us and we are always taking this into consideration, when thinking about the next steps.
Renderpeople Studio has been tested with all versions from 3ds Max 2016 through 3ds Max 2019. Support for 3ds Max 2020 will be following shortly.
One of Renderpeople Studio’s strengths is to take over the management of your personal Renderpeople library. Because of this Renderpeople Studio has to redownload the latest version of the models from our servers. Importing models that have already been downloaded is currently not possible. Learn more about Renderpeople Studio’s file management in our official documentation.
However, for a future version we are looking into a possible option to “import” models that have already been downloaded into the Renderpeople Studio library.
